Life was easier when there was no texting, emailing, facebooking, skyping, gchatting, voIPing, video conferencing, AIMing, MSN messanging, google stalking.. and as a consequence a lot fewer intercontinental moves.
It was just better when we were all farmers and married the farmer from the plot of land next to ours.
I'm not so sure. Also then you could find a good farmer or a bad farmer. The difference today is that you can decide not a choose any farmer at all if none suits you, which is no trivial difference. Unluckily, now that farmers don't lead the game any longer, they lost their (useless) confidence and have no clue on how to behave. Only when they will be able to distinguish power and love, there will be the possibility to lay the foundations for real male/female relationships
